AASLD is a platform for creative interactions: residents and fellows are able to interact with experts and consultants; nurses may collaborate with doctors; basic scientists can cooperate with clinicians and members from all over the world connect to each other.

This is possible only with a large network of liver units and a highly engaging website, which offers educational programs, webinars, and initiatives. Together with four journals covering all aspects of hepatology, AASLD represents for me an excellent resource to grow, and an opportunity to contribute.
